Browning is my favorite Browning was my first rifle the only downside to them is they don't have enough options when it comes to lefthanded rifles they seem to think there is not many people that shoot lefthand im so disappointed my favorite rifle

I have a 6.5 PRC X-Bolt Pro with a Bushnell LRTS 4.5 - 18 x 44 scope, illuminated G3 reticle and Talley bronze Cerakote rings. Great scope for long range hunting here in Nevada. The 143 gr. Hornady ELDX 6.5 PRC will take a bull elk at 500 yards (1,600+ ft.lbs.), far enough for me to be sure of a kill. Also this bullet will work on antelope at 1,000 yards, my absolute farthest humane distance for that animal with this cartridge. BTW, after 160 yards the143 GR. 6.5 PRC HAS MORE ENERGY THAN THE 30/06 WITH 150 GR. BULLET

My standard 7mm rem mag reloaded with a 162gr bullets are traveling 3,120 fps. With zero pressure signs. 28 Nosler is pretty sweet but it's not that far ahead of the 7RM.

My 28 shoots 195 Bergers at 3150fps

@@Dave-cf2ng that's insane! I couldn't find any data on getting a 195gr traveling faster that 3,000fps with the 28 Nosler. Kudos to you.

Great review. The 28 Nosler though is a barrel burner. You're lucky to get 1000 rounds through the barrel before it'll need replacing.

Something about shooting a Non Nosler bullet out of a Nosler cal seems wrong. Kind of like sleeping with your best friend’s ex type wrong.

Lol! Interesting take. Except there's much better bullets out there than Nosler, at least for long range use. People are tired of the highly inflated ballistic coefficient numbers that Nosler keeps putting out. Through minimal testing we see right through it

If you chrono the factory Nosler ammo, it’ll hurt your feelings how anemic the velocity is...more like rem mag performance. Hornady precision 162 ELDX shot great out of my Christensen and we’re 3220.

Hunting at 1000 yards?? That’s not hunting anymore in my opinion. How about getting closer to that whitetail....I’m sure it’s a great shooting rifle and a phenomenal caliber for long range shooting but in a real hunting scenario when you spot a deer in the woods 100-150 yards away 28 nosler is steaming way too fast and heavy and will ruin a lot of meat

@@georgerios1194 I wouldn’t say it’s the best cartridge ever made but it’s definitely up for discussion lol...problem with 30-30 you can’t get any ammo with good modern hunting billets ..if I had to clear out my hunting rifle safe (6.5 creedmoor, .308, 30-06, 300 win mag, 45-70 and ) it would be the 30-06 all day long it may be a little bit of overkill for deer but as an all around cartridge that would be my pick...as a deer gun it’s either the 6.5cm or the 12 gauge depending which places I’m going that day I’m in NY

@@yurikfarba7169 you’re right in some point. Out here Cali there’s no problem for 30-30 ammo . In my opinion, every hunter has its favorite cartridge, and the type of hunt you’re going to hunt For. For example you have your go-to rifle. Witch I understand, but for myself the best luck I’ve had in hunting is my 30-30. The point is every Rifle cartridge is awesome. I love all rounds.
