I’m not mad at Berry for going after Watson. Yes, he gave up too much and it hurt us. Analytics should say there is a negative or failure possibility. Watson would have to be a top5 QB in order to make that trade work. NOT top5 of the worst QBs in league. Another BIG mistake Berry will make is trying to start Watson next season. Another BIG mistake Berry made is not bringing back Flacco. Another BIG mistake Berry made was not bringing in OL help with TWO starters out to begin the season. Is the ownership responsible for Berry making these mistakes? I don’t know who is to blame. So I blame GM Berry. Kinda his job

The very reasons you gave to keep Stefanski: the playoff births, the playoff win at Pittsburg, are the same reasons they should’ve hung onto Baker.
@joshuamiller67403 күн бұрын
I'd rather have the GM swing big and miss then try for a bunt or single. We have been looking for a franchise QB for 25 years and D Wats was the best candidate at the time. Now we are back to where we were pre-Watson...in the hunt for another franchise QB. Let's try the draft again to see if Coach Stef can mold and shape that QB how he wants.
@raymondseiter81823 күн бұрын
I totally agree at least we tried
@zombiegoatt42823 күн бұрын
@joshuamiller6740 I 100% disagree Watson was never a franchise QB players like that never get traded regardless of the issues off the field. The Texans traded him because they realized drafting him was a waste of a pick. Look at them now with CJ Stroud who is a franchise QB.
@joshuamiller67403 күн бұрын
@zombiegoatt4282 He was a franchise QB until he chose not to be one anymore.
@zombiegoatt42823 күн бұрын
@joshuamiller6740 no he wasn't if he was the Texans would still have him. He is a Team cancer and kills it from within. At least the Texans was smart enough to get away from him. Unfortunately we are the suckers who bailed them out which speaks volumes to how bad our organization truly is.

I don’t see how A.B.’s job is in jeopardy? He has built one of the best rosters in football according many NFL guru’s. The DeShaun Watson deal was a collaborative deal between him Kevin and the Owners. It seems to me that this team is not being coached up to its potential. Besides the Watson deal this roster is pretty good.
@drshaack3 күн бұрын
Stefanski doesn’t own that playoff win - AVP does. You can make an argument that this offense has looked the best when AVP and now Dorsey called the plays. Small sample size but Stefanski’s play calling has been erratic with no identity or scheming guys open.

I'm routing you "still went to the playoffs" Kevin might not be a top 5 coach in the NFL but damn he is atleast in the top 10 as coaches go in my opinion. The jets damn near fire a head coach every year and still suck why because there is no consistency in that program. I hope we keep Kevin and get better qbs in cleveland so he can get those wins we deserve and earn. GO BROWNS

Stefanski and berry are not the problem in cleveland I blame ownership they are the ones signing the checks. Watson is a TOTAL COMPLETE DISASTER. My browns way over paid watson the players don't want him behind center and our defense is frustrated busting their butt's every Sunday and losing. I'm not saying Winston is the answer but he performed alot better than watson and my browns won.

Jimmy is a terrible owner!! Nothing can be done about that. Berry is good with contracts, cap money and numbers in general. He isn't however good with evaluating talent or real meaningful FA signings. Realize he is forced sometimes to sign players he doesn't want (D. Watson) etc.
