@@johnkieley8994 There likely won't be a Zootopia 2 in 2021, for that to happen they would've announced it by now sadly. Maybe 2022! I really dislike the idea of hybrid mammals, I know the creators joked about "boxes and funnies", but to me that's all it is, just joking. I think a line has to be drawn in this fantasy-real setting, and with Zootopia, if hybrid animals can exist like in Shrek, then I think it loses some of that reality the movie is going for and ends up being straight fantasy - at that point it becomes more of what CAN they do next, rather than what WILL they do next.

You know, I was actually really surprised when Judy said "I'm in a relationship". But looking back on it now (and by that I mean a few months ago), I realize that their relationship is one where they never really had to say "I love you" or anything. There isn't even a big kiss or anything to make this THE moment when they officially got together. What I totally love about this film is how you deliver the genuine message that what Nick & Judy have is not a typical lover's bond, but something that respectfully transcends either of their species and "biological limitations" to a point where everything is based on who they are. Just because they can't love each other on a biological level, there's nothing stopping them from simply calling each other "My Favorite Person". Plus, the fact that just because something new seems unconventional doesn't make it bad. The only thing I can't quite figure out is how Karen made her way into the story. I know her entry point is to be a rebound element for Nick in light of the ordeal he and Judy went through, which of course ends badly so that Judy can come to his rescue and provide them with the chance to reconcile, which effectively recreates the scene from the film where Nick stands up for Judy against Bogo. But you don't really provide any insight as to how Finnec knows her or how he was able to hook her up with Nick. Were the three of them partners on a con, were she and Nick schoolmates who still keep in touch, or...or what?
