The C-130's were practicing nap of the earth flying, it's a common training flight, nothing out of the ordinary.

Those were C130J cargo planes. I helped build those for several years here in Marietta GA. They are used by all the services.

Cool Opening with those three C130 Hercules! Those are Cargo planes, and also for Parachute Drops the C130's are practicing for Airdrops on an AIR FIELD Forced takeover or. para drop behind lines. They practice both Low Level and high level flight paths. In nice weather, at night, and in nasty weather. Pilots need to train all the time, to maintain proficiency. They typically are used for deploying cargo or 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions. Irony is, the C130 is actually one of the smaller cargo and para planes the Air Force uses. LOL.

Air force has done those types of flyovers on our farm when I was a kid. I was told back then they were doing low level radar evasion training in the mountain valleys. Haven't seen them fly that low around here in many years. Lots of high altitude flying because we live between two major air force bases in PNW.

We have an airport that's in the desert about 4 MI from us the military planes quite often fly very very low and when they do everything shakes. They fly low enough it disturbs the livestock. I love seeing the snow and playing in it would be awesome but I sure wouldn't want to live in it. Stay warm

Those pilots are probably looking down and saying, what a beautiful farm, that's a lot of land. Perfect for snowmobiling on. We've had similar planes fly over our city, but mostly at night. I wonder why? Glad you got the pipes running to deter any pipe breaks.. that would be expensive to repair. Mighty cold Logan, but not to worry.. spring is coming soon. God bless

Great midwinter video Logan. Riding on the snowmobile with you brought back so many memories of being back on the farm. We had Polaris sleds too. Thawing out frozen water lines was another winter chore. Great shots of those big planes!

This is the coldest winter we've had here in North Carolina in a long time. We had the first real snow we've had in 3 years. Those snow mobiles look like fun.

We see C130’s here in Mississippi as well as the C5 galaxy or c17 globe master. Awesome sight to see!

Dude I live just South of Dover DE. There is a base there. I see these things constantly. Those were C130's. C-17's are most common here. They are enormous like the C-5's. The base is like 15 miles from here. I hear a deep rumble in my sleep and im used to it. Is just one about to take off. Then there is exercises they do to mimic short landings and doing touch and go's. If I was not used to it I would think there was a war about to break out.

C130s....training. Usual 3 at a time or 2 sets of three. We used to see them all the time in North Texas.

130s doing low level training mission, most time to a drop zone to drop equipment out the back. Did this many times as a navigator in 130s. Probably the guard.

Its called tactical flying Logan. they used to fly like that taking us to our parachute drop zone then just before we jumped they lifted very quickly to jump height and then as soon as we were out they reduce height quickly to leave the area. Looked like c-130's or the current day equivalent.

Logan there are three types of trail cameras, White glow which makes color photos at night Low glow which makes black n white photos at night but are harder to see And no glow cameras which are the hardest for anything to see at night but coyotes can see the lights on them no matter which kind they are ,,coyotes are the hardest animals to get night pictures of with trail cams so good luck getting them ,,you might get them once at a location but probably not twice.

This weather isn't good on any equipment. Those planes look like Air National Guard C-130, practicing low level approaches to drop supplies or man power to troops. NY Air National Guard is based at Stewart International Airport about 10 miles from me and they also fly C-117 and other assorted craft. They could have been NY ANG planes Stewart is only about 150 air miles from you. Those old Polaris were great machines.
