Hi bro!! Wait until December. The Home Office can take up to six months or more to process citizenship applications, so waiting for a bit longer. If the mail you received specifically instructs you to apply for an eVisa, then it is best to follow those instructions to ensure compliance with UK immigration regulations. If your wife already has a British passport, she should not need an eVisa for travel To get the most accurate guidance, you might want to contact the UK Home Office
