BRS 12 & BOOSTER PLUS 1 COMPARISON......
After a scary and dangerous time with my booster plus 1 stove it was time to part ways with this petrol stove, while its larger sister stove, the BRS 12 remains safe and strong. Petrol stoves still have their place in motorcycling camping due to their ability to run efficiency on just a little fuel from the bike tank.
After just one year on the BRS 12 encountered an epic fail, after squirting fuel directly on to the stove flame, turning the stove into a bomb waiting to go off......bexbugoutsurvivor

Thanks for a great vid bex. It may not be your burner with the gas set up at fault. the coleman orange top gas cans are renowned for not working properly on non coleman burners. you either have to screw them on mega tight or pop a small ball bearing down the valve as coleman gas appliances valves have longer pins. Plenty of info regarding this on google search. Cheers, Ian

Great info. However the booster plus 1 has been binned, and I have a whole host of different other stoves, petrol/butane/alco/hexi/wood,/iso prop/ too many.....lol

Both of those look dodgy to me, think I'll give them a miss but good to see it in action. Think I'll keep to my spirit stove and Firebox stoves. I do have a gas cooker but not in use until winter.

There are plenty of spirit stove burners vids on the channel too, and a great little spirit stove burn off vid coming soon-ish. The petrol stoves of a firm favourite with motorcycling camping, as one can fire the stove up with fuel from the bike tank..... Thanx 4 watchin' bex

Great review Mr.Bex. My favorite is still my vintage Svea 123. I bought the silient damper for it but went back to the original flame spreader. More noise but more efficient in my opinion.

Right on. My 123R failed, wish I could have sourced the 123 original now.

Great Video Brother! Safety First. I've always liked the gas stove that you pump up. We use to have a Coleman camping stove back in the 1970s. Always worked great. Gonna get me another one. Thanks for making these Informative shows for us. Cheers from Swansea SC.

Thanks 👍 I have my coleman 533 boxed up waiting to go on Ebay, Bit too heavy once the fuel is it it, but the BRS 12 is far more compact, and weighs a lot less. I only use Petrol/Gas stoves in deep winter. All the best bex

Hello Bex and I enjoyed that video and I have been after a Coleman dual fuel store for ages, but what put me off was people saying their cups of tea tasted like petrol. But after your great video, I will get a Coleman stove and use aspen 4 lawnmower fuel for it and I have noticed the aspen 4 fuel is about £7.00 a litre. Thanks for sharing and keep safe..

Never ever notice the taste of petrol in my brews, and as you know I am fussy with my brews. On saying that I brew up on hexamine also and coffee tastes awesome. Maybe people who suggest taste or smell of petrol in their food/brews are just not lovers of patrol stoves. My 1 litre bottle of aspens 4 lasted will over a year of camping, My BRS 12 seen 8 camps to a full tank...alb...bex

I have an old Primus multi fuel that I rarely use now.... but for motorcycle camping in the middle of nowhere it has its place. They are very scary though.

Hi Bex I'm new to your channel and I've sudscribed. I'm loving the videos. Ex forces UK myself and I'm enjoying your contributions of the kit you use. Just getting back into the outdoors myself with the hopes of a channel for myself. Look forward to your next video. All the best.

Thank you! Cheers! Some one else told me about his stove malfunction nearly setting him self a blaze. It scared me too, although I did have a smile as I kicked my stove bomb about 100 metres.
