I’ve been blessed to be around and see these guys since I was in college. Met Bruce years ago at uptown and sat with him at the table. I was trying not to even be funny and my boy said “hey Bruce dale does a helluva Obama”. I do it and he laughs his azz off then jumps on stage and my name for the rest of the night was NegroBama. He was gracious when he sat back down and asked if i was ok. One of the most humble warm comedians in this space. Saw him in Chicago early on and this was great seeing him.

This is by far my favorite interview yet. I had purchased the VERY first iPhone (iPhone 1) in like 2008 and went to NYC and say Bruce was doing some shows and there I was. I went to get a shirt signed after the show and asked his boy if he would take a pic (with my phone) with me and Bruce and Bruce asked me if it was the new iPhone and if they could check it out and I could not have been happier to spend a few more moments talking to Bruce. That's probably my favorite pic today and it's on a shelf in my house.
