I missed out on this chapter of Bruce. I was in my first year in the Marine Corps. I didn’t really appreciate his solo work until I found Accident of Birth in 1997. Great music. Very happy Janick jumped the Maiden train and remained aboard.

We served USMC during same time, didn’t get into Tattooed Millionaire when it came out, giving it another listen. Accident of Birth and Chemical Wedding are killer!

Janick fortunately has gotten a lot better on guitar, this sounds terrible though
@soeffingwhat9 жыл бұрын
lasseplatburk He was always great on Guitar. This recording just doesn't sound great. It lively would've sounded better actually at the Gig itself.
@lasseplatburk9 жыл бұрын
But I feel the same about many of his guitar solos on No Prayer for the Dying
@soeffingwhat9 жыл бұрын
lasseplatburk I think his Solos on NPFTD show that he is less of a "structured" Soloist than Murray or Smith. I think that's just his style. That's by far one of my favourite Albums of Maiden's btw.
@mariosmai17 жыл бұрын
mate this is from his personal album.... I think the first when he left Iron Maiden
@Ketis19856 жыл бұрын
@@mariosmai1 This was done after Seventh son of a seventh son just before No prayer for the dying in 1990. Janick joined Iron Maiden after this tour because Adrian was leaving since he was not happy about the NPFTD album material because it was back to the roots album. So it was easy to pick Janick to replace Adrian since Jan had already played on Bruces tattooed millionaire album and they knew that he is great player.... Bruce left the Iron Maiden after they finished Fear of the dark tour in 92 and Real live tour in 93.
