And it is true that after all these years, he can still sing better than 99% of all other singers, even when they are 10-20 years younger. But i cannot forget like in Sao Paulo 1999... that was an absolute monster of a performance. Better than anything Bruce sang with maiden

That applies more to whisky though.. but sure😊. Also I agree that Bruce hit the peak as a performer during his Accident of Birth / Chemical Wedding years. His years in Maiden between 82 - 84, he was a powerhouse but it lasted very little and his voice was SHOT by the time of the World Slavery Tour. Took him some time to fully reach control over his voice again

Whoever was in charge of the orchestral arrangement & adaptation to these songs has done an incredible job. Needless to say Bruce Dickinson is the best singer of heavy metal and huge fan of DP. They couldn’t have picked a better singer to create these renditions. Just look at how impressed is the director of the orchestra with Bruce’s voice. He knows the level of talent he is working with.

Yes indeed, these kind of slower songs suit him, just like Revelations and Remember tomorrow, which actually sounds like this When a Blind Man Cries. I think Bruce can't keep up with the faster and higher songs anymore like Aces and Hallowed.

@@ville85 Believe me, he can still do the faster songs as good. I saw Maiden live in 2019. And his voice is as commanding and operatic as it has ever been.

@@goldsaj As Bruce (and the rest of the band) is getting old he's not running and jumping across the stage all the time so I think his singing is more clear and focused. Also they have lowered the tempos to what they are on records, like on '85 Live after death tour and '88 Maiden england tour they played Hallowed in ridiculous tempo. Last time I've seen them live was on the Legacy of the beast tour 2018, and before that every year they played in Finland since 2008 Somewhere back in Time tour. And I have to say that Bruce was looking and sounding a bit tired on the 2013 Maiden England tour. I guess the hard touring was starting to take it's toll, and maybe it was the time when his throat cancer was starting to 'wake'. This Covid-19 gave them time to rest and you can hear it in his singing, I'm really looking forward for the new tour.
