Still haven't bothered to listen to it. I haven't heard anything I like from maiden/bruce since BNW (including snippets of this), so I'm in no rush.

I got the same version on pre-order and listened to it when it first came out, but it hasn’t been near the turntable since then. I can’t put my finger on a reason, but it didn’t hit me between the eyes in the same way as ‘Accident of Birth’ or ‘Chemical Wedding’ when I first heard them. Maybe it will grow on me if I give it another chance. 🤔

Whah Jeez, I can't wait to hear you finish your videos with "WE PREVAILED", rather than "We WILL prevail..." BTW, I didn't think much of the Bruce Dickinson track when it came out, It grew on me as I watched your analysis... (and yeah, it's much better without the video!) Maybe you'll convice me that Saxon is any good... at any point in their carreer... I don't know why, but I never got to like them... As for Priest, that's the main reason I landed here... Defenders of the Faith series... I discovered that band as a child with "Screaming For Vengeance"... This is one of my 100 best albums of all times... Thanks for everything! Keep up the good work Pal! (BTW, what's your name Mr. Pilgrim?! LOLOL)

@Flets72 I bought the early Saxon albums in the 80s but was never into them in the same way as Maiden, Ozzy or AC/DC. However, I saw them on the Carpe Diem tour last year and they were superb. Definitely worth checking out if they come anywhere near you. 🤘

Cant wait to get mine! Good to hear the audio quality is better. I also found that the audio on amazon music was better than both youtube and slightly better than Spotify, so ill have to compare them all!

I have recently bought The Chemical Wedding. I listened to some of the tracks few years ago but I wasn't hooked then. Now, I was urged by its price so I went back home, listened to it on YT and...it CLICKED! I was simply amazed and surprised I didn't like it first time. Two days later I came back and bought the album. Of the best investments of last year 😂❤

I love Afterglow of Ragnarock and I have pre-ordered the CD. Must add some nerdy stuff and that is the reason for vinyl sounding better than digital has nothing to do with the format by it self but because of idiots who compress the hell out of the dynamic range. I prefer CD over vinyl but I always buy the CD or digital download, rip it to my laptop and make a remaster where I, despite I am very much aware of that I'll never get back what's been lost, improve the remaining dynamic range by a lot (for example the 2003 remaster of Queensryche Operation Mindcrime went from 5 db dynamic range to 11) plus some other stuff. With a proper dynamic range and mastering, digital sounds great. That fact is even another reason for buying music rather than just stream because it's possible to change how it sounds a lot, which you cannot do with streaming :) Slava Ukraini!

Pre-ordered the CD of The Mandrake Project. Unlike with Maiden albums. For those I go to the music shop on release day. Was waiting outside before opening for Senjutsu.

Good song - not interested in the comic book and don't particularly like the video either... the song is better on Spotify where the audio quality is a little better and I'm not distracted by the goofy video... But, definitely looking forward to the rest of the album whenever it drops.

Fuck this Limited Edition shit. Just a way to make money. If it's so important for the "fans", it should be available for everybody interested. But it's not for the fans, it's for the money only - that's why it's limited, just to ensure sales. Fuck that. And yes, i'm extremely pissed for not being able to get it.

its a decent song, but i was expecting something with dual harmonies, like the "tower" or the "broken" to be honest as a first song in almost 20 years, solo is nothing special.... andrian is missing a lot :(
