It takes place after Shang-Chi because in the after credits scene Bruce was wearing the inhibitor and had his arm in a sling. I'm assuming the video was filmed months ago, but was leaked recently to keep Blonski in prison.

The two characters in the MCU that break the fourth wall are She-Hulk and Deadpool and for some reason both actors are from Regina , Saskatchewan Canada., Edit: Tatiana Maslany and Deadpool are from Regina which is what I meant to write but it was 6 am

@BRIDGECO, 1:58 Did you watch the Falcon and the Winter Soldier? I think Sam answers all those questions for us. He needed to get a loan to save his family's business and the bank wouldn't give him one =/ 8:36 That's how General Ross pitched it to him--the man has a valid argument. What he didn't know is that the Dr. Erskine's serum enhances what's already there while giving a person superhero powers--that's exactly why Dr. Erskine didn't want to give to any soldier and why he was so selective with his project! Emil isn't that different from all the soldier the US Army wanted Erskine to choose in the first place or Red Skull for that matter. Emil said it himself, he was a highly decorated military officer, but that's not all. Emil was an over-achiever, he always took on impossible missions and he was under orders of an emotionally compromised commanding officer that was willing to move Heaven and Earth to bring the Hulk down. The worst was thing that could possibly happened was guaranteed, lol! Even if you didn't want to believe Emil, he's should still be given the benefit of the doubt as the serum inhibited him from using his better judgement and that very important information was kept from him. His need to please his superiors and to finish the mission stopped him from taking a moment to think about what he was actually doing. 10:14 LOL! Every reactor on KZbin asks this question. No one ever asks how how Nick Fury's pager was able to contact Carol who was in a completely different universe, but apparently Bruce calling his cousin an alien ship is a bridge too far? If Rocket could track the Infinity Stones in a different universe to pin point accuracy from the Avengers compound, I think it's safe to say that Tony/Rocket found a way to boost all sorts of signals. 11:28 Good news for Emil. Wong's a hero. He can vouch for Emil. Wong's the reason why he was out in the first place. I'm starting to think that the Eternals is the true end of this phase, and that likely explains why no one has mentioned the final events of that movie in the MCU. The order of the projects from this phase likely don't matter much, as they probably aren't actually sequential. That said, I think this series will likely reference what we saw at in the Eternals near its end. I'm enjoying this show a lot. Can't wait to see what's coming next.

Every reaction of this episode I've seen talks about the phone reception. Hulk, cool. Spaceships, cool. Talking tree and raccoon, so cool. But the tech to make a call in space, nope. Just think it's funny.

Emile Blonsky makes a pretty good case. Except for the following details: 1. Bruce Banner was already in custody When the Abomination rampage occurred. 2. Banner was also already in custody When Emil, at gunpoint, made Mr Blue inject him with Bruce's blood, which was incidentally not government-sanctioned. 3. He went on that rampage looking for a fight, and was not only killing civilians, but willfully, actively engaging US troops in combat. It was only after all this occured that Bruce risked his life to bring the Hulk back to stop Blonsky.

The argument against that is the largely untested super soldier serum had a side effect of messing with his head so he wasn't making the best decisions. Blonsky was pretty out of control when he forced Sterns to inject him with Bruce's blood. Compare him before and after the serum and you can definitely see a change in personality.
