You are right, the character IS a boy, but at this particular show Serena Quadrato, a swing who covered the roles of Amanda, Lavender, Alice, Hortencia and Eric, was playing Eric. The character is a boy, but the actor is a girl. Anyways she covered really well after the fall.

Oh, It really is Serena. I did not notice it, I saw her as Levander and a little boy played Eric. Serena's dance is so similar to the little boy's ,she really did a great job.

They are on a michanical belt under the stage that when the backstage crew press a button the desks move

I'm not quiet sure but I think one of the ways that the cake might be inflatable and its got several slices and the top is covered with frosting so he eats some and smears it over his face but when he has a spoon he pushes down on the cake so one slice of it gets pushed down etc. At least that is what I think. idk.

A really deep tray! The tray that the cake is on is much deeper then it looks, so when you press a piece of the cake down it locks in so it appears that the cake is gone :).

WOW! the american version is quite differnet to the british version - LOL . Britains version's tables dont move side to side, and the board dosent have lights around it. I wish britians version did this. this one looks so much cooler
