Your water filter system is great, where did you get the hose attachment for the cnoc?
@robandmirjana5 ай бұрын
@@joshconiglio2564 thanks! That’s part of the sawyer squeeze package we got on Amazon. It’s nice but not necessary!

Hi, nice video! Just wondering how do you book campsites and how far in advance should it be done. Thank you
@robandmirjana8 ай бұрын
Hey, there are only nine sites at each campground, so I recommend booking as early as possible. You can check on the parks Canada reservation site to see when it opens!

Great video! Looking forward to maybe doing a similar trip this year. Are there additional trails to make the trip longer then 2 nights?
@robandmirjana11 ай бұрын
Thank you! If you stay at high dump for two nights, you could hike to a few other lakes using the crane lake trail. You could also stay at Stormhaven for two nights and hike to the grotto for a full day, or even spend a night or two at Cyprus lake campground and go to Tobermory town during the day! We also hiked Lions Head on the drive up there (we posted another video showing that). Happy camping!

Thanks for the great video! I'll be recreating this hike next week, so the walk-through and tips are very helpful :) How was the cell reception out there? Just wondering in case of emergency.

Oops… I only saw 2nd part of the comment now. Sorry! Cell service was poor. Don’t rely on it b/c you’ll loose reception at some parts

Amazing video guys! Did you have any bear spray or bear horn with you? I’ll be on these same spots in September and can’t find enough info about bear encounters in the area.
@robandmirjana2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes we brought bear spray. There are a quite a few signs saying “bear in area”, so I would recommend carrying it!

Awesome video! Thinking about doing similar this summer. How far was it between storm haven and the grotto?
@robandmirjana Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I would say less than an hour hike. The good thing is you can leave your gear at Stormhaven and just bring a daypack!

What was the date of your trip? Surprised that there were no bugs in May.
@robandmirjana Жыл бұрын
Hey! We were there May 27-29. It was awesome without bugs! We’ve camped at Bruce Peninsula a few times and never really had big issues. Maybe it’s the lake breeze or cooler temperatures!

Hi Nicole, isn’t it great! There wasn't really any bugs when we went. Only in the parking lot, but nothing on the trail

Quick question. Is it a must that camper camp on the platform? I am asking in case of a hammock use. Also, is small wood twig stoves permitted?
@robandmirjana Жыл бұрын
Hey, I’m not sure about the hammock and I don’t think any wood stoves are permitted there
