I’m glad Bruce and Jerry reconciled. I agree with Bruce’s take. Emotional baggage wears on you and I prefer sleeping well at night. I do regret not reconciling with everyone before their passing. Some passed away way too soon.

Very much like Rowdy Roddy Piper and mr. T. Amazingly ending up burying the hatchet in the end. Roddy Piper legitimately did not like mr. T at all and thought he was an asshole. It was after meeting Mr T's son at the one WrestleMania weekend and seeing what a polite and respectful young man that he was that Piper started reconsidering his thoughts about the guy. He got to thinking that as an actor mr. T would have been on the road and away from home almost as much as the wrestlers yet he still managed to raise an extremely bright and honourable kid. The fact that mr. T had a raised a boy like that earned him Roddy Piper's respect since Piper realized he could not have done that if he was actually the man Piper had always thought he was. Piper took his own son over to mr. T tapped him on the shoulder before saying "You know, I never liked you at all I thought you were egotistical and obnoxious. but I just met your boy and he is a fine young man. If there is one thing I respect it is family and to raise a boy like that you are obviously a good father. I just wanted to come over and say I misjudged you. You're alright. " before putting his hand out to shake T's hand. No one ever figured that was ever going to happen.

it's easier said than done. there are a few people in my life, i'd love to just sit down and have a chat with and talk through what happened and have some kind of resemblance to the friendships we once had...but in some of those cases, they've made it clear they don't want to meet. It sucks but that's what it is

absolutely. it can be hard to move on from past hurts. Lord knows I've got my baggage too...but it really does bring you down as a person and it's exhausting to keep up a level of disdain for someone for so many years. It isn't easy to do, but it's worth it

Jerry Jarrett managed to do it in part due to the fact that he starved most the wrestlers working in his territory and paid them horribly. BUT Credit where credit is due though. when all the other territories went extinct Jerry Jarrett managed to keep his territory going for a long time afterwards.
