I love this solo, he does muff it up a bit towards the end (bars 13 and 14) but doesn't matter. I like that the whole solo is EVH style finger tapping but really doesn't sound like Eddie, it fits the song perfectly. It's like what he does in the introduction of Passchendaele, which sounds almost like a partially stopped pipe organ part.

Qué recuerdos ctm!!! el club hípico explotó esa noche y yo casi me desmayo 2 veces. Uno de mis mejores conciertos. Me tuvieron que sacar del público cuando ya había llegado muy adelante porque me estaba deshidratando. Me acuerdo que hacía mucho calor y nos tiraban agua con una manguera y el agua salía caliente jajajajaja. Cuando pedí que me ayudaran a salir, me tomaron y me levantaron, y cuando estaba arriba siendo llevado por un mar de manos, miré para atrás y ví a toda la gente. Una de las imágenes imborrables de ese día. Me llevaron a unas casetas de ayuda, tomé un poco de agua y volví a entrar y logré llegar muy adelante nuevamente. Rime of the ancient mariner fue un éxtasis.
