Bruce is a great band leader plus he never lets his ego get in the way of his performances. He’s always happy to share the spot light with his band mates and other musicians. Music is in Bruce’s DNA! IMO There’s no better performer dead or alive than ... Bruce Springsteen!

I love watching a frail, old man, walk on stage... the music begins and he transforns...in his soul...back.

I've never seen anyone with more respect for the elders than Bruce when performing live. You can tell he literally LOVES them all and their music.

I was a 60's teenager growing up in England and saw Sam & Dave as part of an Atlantic artists tour with Booker T and MG's, Arthur Conley, Joe Tex, Clarence Carter and others. To see them backed by Steve Cropper and Donald 'Duck' Dunn was something I will never forget.

Sam Moore once said that the "hardest workin' man in show business was NOT James Brown, it was Bruce Springsteen. Along with Dylan, Fogerty, Brown and Moore, there you have it. The biggest influences on Bruce Springsteen as a writer and performer. Moore in CRIMINALLY underrated as a songwriter and voice. The Boss and Little Steven are in absolute HEAVEN in this performance. They covered Sam & Moore songs constantly on the Jersey Shore.

Love how Bruce has so much respect for the giants of an earlier era who greatly influenced his music. Sam Moore, Bruce and E Street together are magic.

Bruce LOVES to “act humble” just so people will say how humble he is.

This is why he's the Boss! No rules! Bruce introduces and plays what he wants!

Bruce is the human personification of someone becoming empowered by the power of music. His passion sweats out of his body. Amazing entertainer and watching someone enjoy what he does to that extent is an absolute pleasure and privilege to watch.

Fantastic! I don't think any other band other than Bruce and the E Street band could have done justice to Sam Moore and Dave Prater. I wish Dave could have been there for this! It's truly a wonderful tribute to both Sam and Dave.

One of the All time Greats with the Boss. It doesn't get any better than this. Brings back so many good memories of hearing these two tunes on AM radio back in the Sixties. God what a time to be alive.

Bruce is the only singer that knows how use his raspy voice and uses it properly in a way he can go through the whole concert and keep it intact, unlike others that mess with it until the second song, where that voice is over.

Camilo Fava can't stand him. I'm here for Sam.
@mattwood15622 жыл бұрын
@@skepticchic3426 I truly can’t overstate this: No-one cares that you dislike him. I never understand why people feel the need to drag someone when there’s no good reason to.

Well, it’s not hard to stand there and just scream and croak. The man can’t sing OR play the guitar. Yet he has zillions of fans and dollars. Never underestimate the stupidity of people.
@emitwilson8906 Жыл бұрын
@@grouchosays if this many people love him, is it everyone else's stupidity or is it yours?
@grouchosays Жыл бұрын
@@emitwilson8906 Millions of people have bought multi-millions of records by Pat Boone, Paul Anka, Wayne Newton, Tab Hunter, Liberace, Barry Manilow and Mungo Jerry. That doesn’t change the fact that their stuff was so bad that it made me hurl. I don’t care what anyone thinks. I’m entitled to my own opinion.

I feel SO fortunate to have grown up during the age of The Beatles and Motown. Top 40 radio actually had great music that would last through the ages. Now, the poor young people have to suffer through talent-less auto tune pop and rap crap.

Unfortunately, this isn’t true. His voice is noticeable thinner here, he’s lost some of that grit which he had, and he can’t push out the notes nearly as much 😕
