My first Bruce show was with Seeger Sessions. I walked in as a skeptic, I walked out as a convert for life. Once you go Bruce you'll never look for another entertainer.

Never mind how brilliant the music is, just look at how happy those playing it are. The Boss is the Boss. He keeps those around him alive and happy. Musicians like that are hard to find.

I’ve been listening to this man and his wonderful music for a bit over 40 years and just when I you think you’ve seen everything he’s done. What does he do he comes with these brilliant song’s I’ve heard a few of them but not like this. Bruce and the Sessions Band in Dublin, It’s got too go down as 1 of his greatest concert’s ever and just too top it off Bruce and all the band are having the best time ever. So I’ll keep looking for these treasures because I’m sure there are more I haven’t seen. It’s a real joy to find all these wonderful people do what they do best.🎼♥️🇦🇺🇺🇸💋

Great review @Donelle and I couldn't agree more - can you recommend other great live gigs they have done?

@@pb4378 Thankyou Paul give me a little time and I’ll have a look at my Playlists. I know Bruce has started putting full concerts up on U tube. Have you seen Bruce doing Love of the Common People with the Seeger Sessions band. He and Curtis King do a brilliant job of it. It’s been Covered by every man and his Dog but Bruce’s Cover is by far the best.🎼♥️🇦🇺♥️🇺🇸🕺🏻💃🎸

@@pb4378 Back again, as I was going through my playlist’s I realised I didn’t have many full Concerts on there and then of course I realised I’d made up my own Playlist’s. However there is 1 that is worth having a look at there is 1 song off it I will share with you though, Mans Job as in the concert it only has still photo’s the 1993 MTV concert was done while he was living in LA and although the only member of the E Street Band Roy Bittin all the rest are the band he formed while living there. You will have to go on UTube and search for the songs but they are well worth it.🎼♥️🇦🇺♥️🇺🇸🕺🏻💃

Actually it was written by Sis Cunningham and her brother Bill Cunningham. Pete Seeger got it from her - they were roommates for a while along with Woody Guthrie. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sis_Cunningham#:~:text=Her%20Dust%20Bowl%20tale%2C%20%22My%20Oklahoma%20Home%22%2C%20written,Sessions%20album%20and%20subsequent%20Seeger%20Sessions%20Band%20Tour.@@DIANA-rv7zn

Oklahoma is all that and more. We were baptized in crude oil circa 1920, sent our tenant farmers to California in the 1930s and spent the latter years rebranding ourselves.

The first time I heard this song was when my dad who loved classical and jazz and swing and Texas Swing took me to see a college country swing band concert. I remember thinking "How is my dad going to see people in cowboy hats?" My dad had a wide taste in music, on a Sunday afternoon you would hear Bach's 4th and The Planets, and on Monday it might be Duke Ellington and Cab Callaway. Next day something like Aida or Carmen. Or Woody Guthrie. To say that this performance opened my eyes to a whole new world would be an understatement.
