I notice my LRC is super slow going through images quickly. Interestingly, if I look through images on lightroom web it's blazing fast. I've tried a lot and still haven't been able to really fix it. It's now often just very frustrating and time consuming trying to cull images or do anything else really.

Yeh, LR is not a great application, it really needs reworked from the ground up instead of constant patching. The fact a newer Lightroom web application has less issues is testament to that. It's one of the reasons I create fresh standalone catalogs per job. I also find restarting/optimising LR every 20mins or so can help. Sometimes it is Windows interfering in conjunction with LR that causes the most issues (Defender running). This all on a $5k laptop that breezes through every other application I run, yet continually LR proves to be the no.1 most problematic, buggy program of all. If I can find another 3rd party application that allows for tier level tagging and stacking based on timestamps, I could be convinced to skip LR for this task.
