I’m that buddy, and you are incorrect. I tried to do that same line, but couldn’t make it even to that point, as anywhere he went compacted, and was pure ice. Watch as he was sliding, even while having fresh snow to help. My line was the only line left. Trust me, I’ve done this a few times with Bruce. If I had followed, I would have slid and smashed into on of four massive stumps. Bruce also has way better tires, and a breed build.

Early in my relationship I realized my partner was a bit more of a risk taker than I. I tend think I’m more level headed. Don’t swim with sharks etc. However, we have gone on some incredible journeys, seen and done things I would never have risked & made some beautiful memories. Hiking 6 hours through a rainforest to get to a sign that said No Emergency Services Past This Point “proceed at your own risk”, over the fence we crawled, going over crevices I was certain contained lava tubes, we hiked upwards another hour where it was so windy I could hardly stand. Yet we kept trodding forward until we found ourselves right on the edge of a caldera with a huge pit of boiling lava. The wind had blown the sulphuric gases further on the far side so we never saw it until right on it. He was so euphoric he was skipping around the edge getting closer to the lava taking pictures. I, being happy to have experienced it, and not needing to have the crusty edge break and be given as some sacrifice, decided one of us needed to head back down. He says when he looked around all he saw was my backside hoofing it back down and my crazy long red hair blowing in the wind. He said he thought “she gone and left me?!” We have laughed about that for 20 years. I knew then that he was my kite, and I was his string. That has been proven many times over as I have saved us from certain death and he has given me amazing, beautiful memories. I am guessing Denny is the string. lol.

Was a jeep day. Cutting new tracks is much easier when we’re both the same track width. Makes it a lot easier for denny to follow. Marge is much wider and tears up the trail pretty good when the going gets tough 😅

I like how you have enough trust in the owner of the vehicle to drive his own vehicle when you're pulling them unlike someone like mats off-road recovery who will put his wife or someone's daughter in the driver seat, as if they have more experienced than the person who owns the vehicle kind of condescending in a way like I said, I like the fact that you trust the owner to sit in the driver seat of his own vehicle and steer it and manipulate the gas pedal and break paddle instead of some 22-year-old female , because the owner of the vehicle is not competent. It's kind of in an insult in my opinion
