Moving from Hawaii to Kent, WA in 1980 I feel like a pioneer for Asians in the Pacific Northwest. Dad was a police officer for HPD and corruption was bad. I am AAPI plus Caucasian so on the mainland I felt like I still didn't fit in with my Asian classmates as none of them were mixed. Also my Chinese ancestors are tall, 6 foot tall ampa as well as papa and dad. So didn't accept bullying either. Learned Kajukenbo as well I IDOLIZED your dad so no way I was accepting BS from anyone, if at all possible. I was at the premiere in Seattle of I am Bruce as well. Been to he and Brandon's grave as well. Was truly a honor to meet you and mom at the premiere

A lot of people, don't know this, but maybe Bruce Lee's daughter, Shannon Lee does. Bruce Lee, studied deeply the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti, an Indian philosopher. And, that's how I found and discovered Jiddu Krishnamurti, and his lessons and teachings, and the story of his life. I would encourage you guys, to seek him out and learn about him. Kung Fu was not "stolen". It was never Bruce Lee's idea. The idea for the Kung Fu TV series belonged to Howard Friedlander and Ed Spielman. Bruce Lee just had a similar idea, that's all.
