I am from Peru raised in America so I feel a tad bit more american but I do adore peru as well those are my roots! Mario is a genious he is our national treasure he is fantastic and his pictures are amazing I hope that I get so famous in my career that I get shot by testino and we bond over a plate of my mothers home made ceviche!

Mario Testino is Another one of my Favorite Photographers, I REALLY WANT MARIO TO PHOTOGRAPH ME TO, HE' IS GREAT TO, KATE MOSS IS OK, BUT SHES NOT ONE OF MY FAVORITE MODELS, SORRY, BUT SHE DID HAVE GREAT INPACK ON THE FASHION WORLD WITH BEING REAL SHORT, AND SUPER THIN. I FEEL THAT IF KATE MOSS CAN BE A SUPERMODEL WITH HER LITTLE HEIGHTS THIEN I, I, AND OTHER women SHOULD BE ABLED TO MODEL, WITH ARE HEIGHT, WITH ARE FULL FIGURE, WITH ARE OVER AGE 50 TO, CAUSE BEAUTY IS AT ANY AGE, ANY AGE, ANY SIZE, ANY HEIGHT, ANY COLOR, BEAUTY IS ALL OF THESE THINGS, AND WHEN I GO TOO AN AGENCY HERE IN CHICAGO IL, LIKE WILHELMINA MODELS OR ANY AGENCY, WHEN THEY SEE ME THEY won't TAKE ME OR GIVE ME A CHANCE CAUSE YOU GOT IT WHERE THEY ONLY WANT THIS HIGHT, THIS SIZE, THIS AGE, ETC AND EVERY TIME I GO TO AND LEAVE THE AGENCY SOMETIMES IM DEPRESSED AND I GO GET MY ICE CREAM AND PIG OUT AND I FEEL ITS TIME TOO OPEN IT UP SO I CAN GET WITH AS MANY AGENCIES, I AM, BLESS TO HAVE ONE AGENCY THAT SEE POTENTIAL IN ME, LILYS AGENCY HERE IN CHICAGO, I WILL BE WORKING WITH LILYS IM WORKING ON DOING WHAT THEY ASK ME TO DO, THANK YOU LILYS GOD BLESS YOU, BUT I WOULD LOVE TOO BE WITH MORE THIN ONE AGENCY A LOT OF MODELS HAVE MORE THIN ONE AGENCY AND I WANT THAT TO SO WHEN LILYS AGENCY DONT HAVE ANY WORK FOR ME ANOTHER ONE WILL, IS HOW I SEE THIS, SO IF YOU AS AGENTS, EVERYWHERE OPEN IT UP, AND EXCEPT ME AS I AM, AT MY AGE, AT MY HIGHT, AT MY SIZE, AND MY COLOR, THIN I WILL BE LIVING MY DREAM BUT WHEN YOU AS AGENTS EXCLUDE PEOPLES LIKE ME ITS WRONG, ITS WRONG, AND NOT RIGHT OR FARE AND IF THIS IS AMERICA THIN SHOULDN'T I BE LIVING THE AMERICAN DREAM, I WAS BORN HERE AND CANT WORK IN MY OWN DREAM JOB, CAUSE AGENTS EMBRACE OTHERS MORE THIN THE ONES THAT WAS ALREADY HERE. THEY GIVE THEM VISA'S TO WORK HERE AND I BEEN HERE BORN HERE AND THEY won't GIVE ME THAT SAME OPPORTUNITY, IM NOT AGENST ANY ONE COMEING TO AMERICA IM NOT I BELEAVE IN THE LAND OF OPPERTUNITY FOR ALL, I BELEAVE IN FREEDOM, I BELEAVE IN AMERICA FOR ANY ONE THAT WANTS TO BE HERE, BUT I ALSO BELEAVE THAT THE ONES THAT WAS BORN HERE SHOULD HAVE THERE DREAMS TO, YOU NO I WANT TOO LIVE ON THE LAKESHORE DRIVE I LOVE THE LAKESHORE, ITS BEAUTIFUL TO LOOK AT, AND I WANT TO WAKE UP EVERY DAY LOOKING AT THE LAKE, BUT THE ONLY WAY IM GOING TO LIVE ON LAKE SHORE DRIVE I GOT TO GET A CAREER JOB WHERE I CAN AFFORD TO LIVE THERE, AND IF I GOT AN AGENT AND GET ME A FEW NATIONAL TV COMMERCIALS, AND A COSMETIC CONTRACT FOR A COMPANY AND HAIR COMPANY I WILL BE SET, BUT IT STARTS WITH THE AGENTS ITS THE AGENTS GIVING ME A REAL CHANCE AND EXCEPTING ME TO THERE AGENCY SO I CAN WORK WITH ALL MY FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHERS LIKE MARIO TESTINO, AND VICTOR SKREBESKI, AN ISOCKO, AND OTHERS, I JUST WANT TO LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM TO JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE IIS ALL I WANT, TO BE HAPPY, THANK YOU, AMEN.

when i look back at the 90's when mario did the fantastic ad-campaign for gucci, he was the best photographer of this decade. for now it seems to me, he has lost his creative energy. you understand what i mean when you take a look at his book "let me in". it's technically bad and boring or the last burberry campaign - is that the mario testino we all know? his time is over i guess because he has reached his creative peak.

Overrated? maybe, but the Beatles could be considered overrated. When an artist gets to Mario Testino's stage "overrated" is irrelevant.
