I don't know who will be interested in this, but Kalinin is the ancient city(about 800 yo now) of Tver, which was renamed in Soviet times in honor of one of the most prominent figures of the party. This city became, in fact, the capital of Russia earlier than Moscow, but literally a couple of years later, due to the meanness of the latter, it was ruined by a foreign invasion. (Btw, Vasiliy is literally the same as Simo, so in conquest I was seeing how he is dealt to enemy 2000 dmg(he was under AI control))
