Le ton des Psaumes 24 de Lili Boulanger et 150 d’Anton Bruckner délivre le mot-clé de la soirée : allégresse. À l’image, d’ailleurs, des rayons qui traversent le vitrail de la Sixième Symphonie : celle-ci donna bien du fil à retordre à son auteur, qui la surnommait « la plus effrontée » ; les ingrédients brucknériens sont pourtant bien là, distillés dans un Adagio noté « très solennel ».
