I absolutely love David Torn’s playing. I’ve been a looper since 1970 and always look for innovators in the realm. David most certainly qualifies. Apparently, David’s uncle has been friends with my family for many years. I met him frequently at impromptu Greek food-fest parties before asking him on a lark if he was related. He was eager to talk about David, very proud of him. The last time I saw him was about 20 years ago. I believe he lives in Fort Lauderdale as I do also.
