Summer obviously, it's raining. During winter it's raining AND freezing.

The bus you took from cruise terminal to train station , is it free shuttle bus provide by port ? Or you purchase bus tickets separately to get to train station ?

Princess provides a free shuttle bus from the ship to the cruise terminal. We purchased tickets to take another bus into Bruges. We did not ride on a train. We bought the tickets from the cruise terminal to Bruges online. They were $27.50 US each on Viator. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

@@PortMonkeys Note that there is also public transport available, a 'De Lijn" bus from Zeebrugge to Brugge. A single ticket costs a whopping 2.50€ (about $3). Compared with the 20€ to 30€ for the "tourist" buses or 50€ for a taxi. That bus also stops in the centre of Bruges while the tourist buses are banned from the centre and drop you at a decent walking distance from what you want to see.

One possible reason for the mandatory bus is because of the presence of immigrants trying to sneak out of the country (to the Uk) by hiding in shipping containers. By restricting pedestrian traffic it becomes easier to distinguish those immigrants. There is of course also the safety aspect for the port is an industrial zone with big machines moving around.

We think it's a safety issue. We see this in many ports. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

Most of the content is reused from previous video on Bruges (Zeebrugge). 😒

We spent the day walking around in Bruges and taking a canal boat tour. We split that into two videos. A walking video and a canal boat tour video. There really isn’t much overlap. However, we were in Bruges the year before, and made a video of that which is probably similar. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.
