Bruins All-Centennial Team Announce

Wrapping up the Boston Bruins Centennial Gala, the B's announce their All-Centennial Team presented by Rapid7, selected by an independent committee, determining the 20 man roster (12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goaltenders).

What the hell ,are you high??? Pasta can score,have you seen him do anything else but give the puck away?? I don’t think he’ll finish his career with Boston either,he’ll go to the highest bidder. I just have a problem with naming someone to a team like that with their careers not done yet.

Jean Ratelle, Ken Hodge, Bobby Bauer, Woody Dumart, Adam Oates were more deserving of a spot here. I'm not a Bruins fan per se, but Pasta is not the all time caliber, Marchand will probably be, so I have little issue with that selection, you know he's a Bruin for life.

I totally agree with you. Brad Marchand probably will be but I just have a problem with players that are still playing. Pasta can score,but really he doesn’t do anything else and I honestly don’t think he’ll end his career in Boston.(Orr,Bourque, and Esposito didn’t either but you know what I’m talking about)

@@caryfischer6478 That I am in agreement with. Woody Dumart and Bobby Bauer were amazing Bruins in the 30s and 40s, sadly their careers were cut short by the war, but both were all time Bruins.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Bruin fan since 1980 9 yrs old. Bourque became an idol for me back then. Defense was on point back then, too...him 'n me. Bruin fan for life.

Also was nine in 1980, but I started watching the Bs around '78. Imagine this- if Orr had better luck and stayed healthy, he might have played with Ray Bourque. Think about that a minute.
