Not only is this genre of music a joy to listen to, I do love the refreshing and playful call and response rhythms and melodies that flow at its very core.

Touched by a Higher Power. Not religious, but Julie Fowlis is one of these people who comes across as so pure -along with her talent - that you have to think that there's a different dimension at work somehow. The whole band is good too.

"The Soup Dragon" was composed by Gordon Duncan [ RIP ], I believe, and he should get credit for that. Great playing from all concerned. Julie is a tremendous whistle player.
@tkeating312 жыл бұрын
According to most sources, she is playing an Eb whistle, probably by Abell
@Villagejonesy10 жыл бұрын
She plays that whistle and sings so well that it's only a shame she can't do both at once!

I haven't the slightest idea, frankly. It might have been misclicks for all I know. Or some 11 year old in a surly mood. Or whatever, it's not important. The music is your gift, enjoy it! :-)
