As a breeder and dog owner, i recommend crate training! I know some people dont like the idea of it but the dogs actuakly love it because they know its their space and they use it when theyre more grown up to escape when they’ve had enough. Theyre like babies! Need to be put down for naps haha

I do what you do. Get gift bags and put the person's presents in. I have a suitcase full of wrapping paper and I keep buying new ones. My husband doesn't understand why but when I say 'because it is nice' I get a shake of the head, an eye roll and smile Margot is so freaking cute!!

For dog training I was told the most favourite treat to get dogs to ‘listen’ is tiny pieces of cut up raw hot dogs, most dogs will do anything for them. Probably be flamed because it’s probably not the healthiest thing they can eat but it worked for our dogs ❤️

Hi Emma- great video! Margot very cute! When our pup is overtired, she’s the same. We make sure she has a wee etc, then put her into her crate with a treat and toy., put the cover over and leave her. She does create initially but after a minute or two, will be asleep! We never leave her crying for longer than 10 mins but that hardly happens as she’s so tired! She will wake up after an hour or so, will go straight out for the loo and then is a little angel…until the next time lol! Good luck! X

When our dog was a puppy, her favourite thing to chew on was our toddlers dummy! As soon as my daughter put it on the floor, the dog stole it! On the plus side, our puppy helped wean our daughter off the dummy quite quickly!

No top tips for your paper cutting contraption I'm afraid but I had one in the shape of scissors that I bought thinking I was clever and it's stayed in the box, came with instructions but I'm telling you now I couldn't work it out! But the box of candy cane paper you have looks similar to the box of paper I bought from studio, and it came with a credit card sized paper cutter which is a dream, you just slide it along the paper and it's jobs a gooden! I actually bought more paper like it this year just so I had another cutter for everyday use! Such a time/life saver!

A vax spot cleaner and a good carpet shampoo or laundry detergent is worth an investment with pets. A good hack for carpet stains (particularly vomit) is to immediately saturate it with sparkling water to lift it before scrubbing. Zooplus is the best for supplies as it’s cheaper than Amazon and pets at home. Also a play pen and baby gates are life savers! Our dogs are 11 and 6 now and we still use the gates every day. Nose work tires dogs out pretty fast so puzzle toys and snuffle mats are good if they won’t calm down. A great makeshift toy is gravel in an old plastic water bottle, puppies love the noise it makes when they push them around. Hope this helps 😊

Ive written a lot of cards already to go in boxs etc . This year rather than boxs of chocs for step sis and bros etc this year im just giving them scratch cards eaiser and cheaper to post doen as go as large letter not parcel so cheaper and still cheaper than a box of chocs each and prezzys for the kids etc

And in Southern Ireland not only does Santa not wrap but he takes all the packaging odd the toys including those horrible ties that connect the toys to the boxes. Santa wants children to get up and see the toys and be able to play with them without having to get daddy or mammy to get the scissors or knife out!! He puts batteries in too!!!

Your office is like Santa's Outpost! I do all my Christmas shopping in September-October and wrap them IMMEDIATELY. Wrapping things as I get them means I don't have the big, long wrapping sessions. Working in retail means I dont have the time or patience for Christmas shopping or wrapping once the crowds are out.

Forgot to say Emma, guess what the father Christmas in Northern Ireland doesn't wrap his presents for all the children. I kid you not, no one in Northern Ireland I know gets wrapped presents from Santa. We only wrap friends and family presents 🎁 even Eamon Holmes knows the score he explained the secret on this morning. 🤣🤣👍

I can attest to this lol. I have always preferred opening presents to the present themselves even as a child. I remember clearly around 6 saying to my mum "why doesn't Santa wrap presents? Can he wrap them? It's no fun not wrapped". So god love santa from that point had to wrap all my presents lol.

I'm in Northern Ireland and we wrap all the presents, even the stocking fillers! But some of my friends don't, sometimes I wish we hadn't started but it would be weird not to stop it now lol
