UGH!!! I should have found your tutorial on crocheting poinsettia flowers. No more starching, gluing on craft wires! Saves so much time and effort. When you're with the flower, it's READY!!! Definitely this is my go-to now for poinsettia and any flowers for that matter. Thanks, Brunaticality, this is so fab!

Thanks for your instructions. I made some for my mother. I replaced the “yellow” with little bells. Looks and sounds very Christmasy.

excellent tutorial! the end result is beautiful. I used "I love this cotton" and it worked up very nicely. I precut the wire at 14" for large leaf and petals and 9" for the small. I'm going to fasten to a florist stick, cover with florists tape and put 3 of these in a pretty pot just like a real one. I think it will be stunning. also thinking about making pink ones and white or cream also. thanks so much for your this instruction.

Absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this. I have been looking for the instructions on Poinsettia flower for a long time. 🧡 You could wrap the wire in the green yarn use a little fabric glue to hold it or easier you can use floral tape. Best tutorial I have seen! 🙂🙂 I made a couple of these for Christmas, and they turned out beautifully. I am planning on making more. Just as a suggestion, maybe wrap the wire with floral tape at the end. You could also take a longer piece of wire and wrap it around the wires and create a bit of a loop, and you could hang them from hooks. 🙂🎄

I would like to make the leaves a little larger but need to know the exact number of different stitches to do this. I would also like to know if you have or can include a written pattern. Thank you
@brunaticality5 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, I don't have a written pattern as I did just by looking a picture and making up the stitches while crocheting, you can try by adding more chains at the beginning and figuring out the trebles and double crochets to actually making the petals. I am sorry about that, let me know if you need more help! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

@zipporahalexander4743 ай бұрын
Hi ,what measurement did you use for wire length to cut .you forgot to mention that 😂
@Erica-zq1ed3 жыл бұрын
Idk is this helps, but the main pattern for the first “bigger” leaves, goes like this: 1. Chain 13 2. Skip 1st stitch 3. Slip stitch 11 4. Slip stitch, 3 single crochet in same stitch 5. Half double crochet 6. Double crochet 7. Triple crochet 8. Triple crochet 9. Quadruple crochet 10. Quadruple crochet 11. Triple crochet 12. Triple crochet 13. Double crochet 14. Double crochet 15. Half double crochet 16. Single crochet Other wise Ch 3 1. Slip stitch in next stitch 2. Single crochet Then repeat steps 5-16
