"How you take your coffee, who's your favourite authors name..." Bruno you've sung those words so softly, and they've been on my mind a lot this year. I lost my grandfather last spring, and those chances I had to get to know him hit me right there, as my mum gave me the news in the doorway to the kitchen at 6am. Nothing compared to the grief this winter when I had to put my family dog down for cancer, and hearing my dad say 'I've never cried this much, even when my own dad past away 9 months ago, and this little bundle of joy's got my heart wrapped around her paws.' Biggest hug I've ever given my dad. Biggest amount of grief I've moved through in a year. And this year both my grandmothers turn 85, and I've written them the most heartfelt cards, because it feels real that they only have 10 years left for me to get to know them. I want to take them on every trip I can, invite them over to my small apartment for coffee, have them in my life. There's been a lot of tears in the rain, but give them all your love. Give it all so when everything feels empty in your chest, they have everything that mattered to you and you wanted to give. Love. Sending big hugs - Michael
