August 7 for me 2022. I have seen many versions of him singing this song but I never saw the actual first time he performed it - and with his naturally curly hair without a fedora. After all these years I ran across this tonight I’m stunned and very, very pleased!😙Yep, he’s my all-time favorite and I’m old! Love Silk Sonic too but I do hope we get to see him on his own again at some point.🤞🏽

This is really impressive for the first performance of this song. This song is an interesting one to me from all of the lyrics, to all of the musical elements that go into this song from instrumentation and the range of the vocals. I would say that this one would be a challenging one to sing; yet, alone to perform in front of thousands of people. You have to also get the stage set up just right. Any performer will tell you that the way the stage is set can easily change from venue to venue and can change the dynamics of how successful a show can be. Then, you have to make sure the usual is in place which includes, but, is not limited to, setting up the equipment, sound, vocals, instruments, lights, then getting the backdrop set, not to mention, all of those really cool pyrotechnics. I am amazed of the talents that Bruno Mars & The Hooligans bring to the table. I think what really amazes me is that they don't just perform the same genre of music over and over again. I could chat more about that, but, I digress. When I listen to Bruno Mars & The Hooligans, I feel like my ears are unwrapping a gift with each and every song that I hear and it just brings me joy. I really look forward to watching this group as they go forth in their musical adventures.
