I’ve had a few of those new style motor contacts go bad on us. Nowhere near the quality of the old style Federal Pacific contactors. I’ve still got a couple of those fed pac contactors running too (I’m almost certain they are original with the machines they are in).

So I grew up on the AMF 82 /30s the old stepper relay chassis style and later on ran 2 centers with the 82/70s with the 1 board Micro processor chassis and when Skip and Roger pulled all the A2s out of Dover Air Force base they went from 24 lanes to 12 with 82/90xls and I came and helped them with some things because I was AMF for life and they were Brunswick for so long. Was the first Brunswick machine that Otis elevator made just called an A? And I guess that is why the deck or what I call the table is ran with the cables? Elevator cables makes sense once finding out the history! Duh! Lol I know of a few centers on the East Coast where I was from had the Brunswick As that were like a baby shit green color made in like the 50s and they really were made to last at that time. Any big manufacturing machines from that era that are still in service that are of that color still run because of being made to last back then as well as it requires an aircraft carrier usually to move them anywhere even to put out of service! Lol So that cross conveyor or what I call distributor sits on what looks like an M1 Abrams tank transmission! Lol I know a few houses that had over head style crane chain falls to move those bastards when required. I was like HOLY JUMPING SHIT BALLS! lol So just my observation over 47 years it seems to me with all the belt driven style turret gunner tank driven shaker boards of Otis Elevator Brunswick creations are very mechanical driven in operation and I have to say honestly I respect the ability of them on how long they manage to run when you factor in the fact of just how much some have been neglected! Extremely sad yet again it says so much for the machines themselves knowing what you know and have seen and somehow they just manage to cycle and spot pins even when things are flying off and you find yourself like... How in the hell has this machine been running? But when I say that when you spend time with the machines each and every single one.. No matter Brunswick or AMF will tell you if you listen! And they know when there is a mechanic on site who can hear them speak and you will know it's you because they are determined to have fun with you by ALWAYS WAITING FOR THAT ONE SECOND YOU TURN YOUR BACK TO DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE! Sometimes for an hour straight you will wait... As soon as you go get the call 4 lanes down... They puke a full rack on the deck with pins dumped out and on the back end... And if you listen you can hear them laugh! As if to say.... I'm showing you my problem! But I'm not telling you what's wrong with me! I want attention! And you are such a great mechanic we hear... Now fix me! Prove it to me! Cause if not I'll do this every time you turn your back til you fix me or I drive you nuts and pull your hair out! LMFAO! That is a FACT! And i know just from the 9 videos I watched from you that you already know what I'm saying and didn't have to say it because your earned experience says it all for you so it takes one to know one so it requires no explanation on your part because I respect all the things that go without saying that only another top notch mechanic would notice. And the fact it's not in person but being transferred through video means to me..... That in my opinion right now in 2024 you are probably the most experienced Brunswick mechanic living on the planet because of the vast amount of experience you have with them first hand all the way back to their foundation so you understand how they got where they are cause you know what they were! Like we are the card catalog and Dewey Decimal System type guys in the age of Google! LMAO My last point is it seems to me that this.... GSX machine? Or whatever it is with the shark fin and all... What I see is somewhere along the line someone from AMF and Brunswick got together and took the best ideas and operations from each of the two pinspotters and incorporated and married them into hybrid with some advanced modifications almost like some Robo cop! Lol But I can't help but laugh every time I hear the term sweep trolley! Because I hear Beavis and Butthead say Butt Wagon instead EVERY TIME! LMFAO But am I wrong or did someone act like they never heard of the 90 xls or 8800 Golds and just happened to take all the best of both machines... And leave the Mendez parts in the crapper! Lol Because as I stated the Brunswick to me are mechanical driven where My life with AMFs are extremely electrical driven with everything they have been over the years. Maybe it's just me and I just spent too much time with the old century 100 wick oil machine with the shims set shots and double oil to 30 feet stripping and dry towel by hand so I'm stuck in AMF land with the BOSS system! Or as I say Big Old Shitty System! From American Machine & Foundry or.... And I can say this because I've been AMF since a time when the old chain drive 30s were still in action at the school anyway.... AMF As#hole Mother Fu##ers LMAO Only guy I know that I worked with that is As good as you and you would also say that if you know him or of him on the East Coast is Curt O'Dell If you ever went to any maintenance seminars in York Pa over the 90s and Early 2000s you have seen him with his ZZ Top beard and since they took us mechanics to the dirt track each year to go see the URC sprints at Williams Grove as well then you have been around him even if you didn't know him. Well I said all that and you read all that and now saying okay what's the point? Hell! I don't know? Don't blame me! You are the one making all the damn videos I'm watching that started me with all this output to download after about 9 videos you put that I input! LMAO! I guess I'm just saying that only someone who really understands what is being shown can say and see your experience level is beyond level expert and give you that respect and at the same time you know that even though you didn't have to say it you know only someone on that level as well would even be able to tell you that because only experience can recognize experience in that way where I don't have to say anything else but even just a random comment here and there and when you see me pop up you will already know we both understand without having to go into great detail because our earned experience understands what's not said.... I think it's the only great equalizer in life that we can at least count on no matter what... Experience comes one way... The hard way.. Learning it and earning it! No short cuts! No amount of money can buy it! And no matter what anyone says the actions that they do will speak and tell you all you need to know without any words required! So the ones that fake it won't make it cause they can't take it and if you just put the time into making it you get the experience and faking it goes out the window anyway! But you know how people are... The Epitome of Stupidity! Oh! So you guys have 16 balls stuck underground..... But you thought throwing 7 more was gonna get it! 6 more was a no! But 7 more was gonna bring all 23 back and it was Problem solved! Awesome! Thank you fellas! You're done! Go home! Why? Do you see the 3 balls down there in front of the sweep crushed beyond the pin deck back in the pit? That's called broken! You're drunk and now I'm pissed cause we now will be here til 5 am fixing that shit! Now go home before you wind up strapped to a pin wheel til 5 AM BYE BITCHES! LMAO A true story I'm sure is not just my own! Ttyl

Check solenoid adjustment

Thank you for the feedback. The solenoid adjustment was good. The unit ohmed out good, above 100 ohms. I checked those items in a previous video on this issue.
