Digging the content. I started a channel many years ago but deleted most of the content. Left one of my old A2 videos up. Currently I oversee 5 locations that have GSX, and the newest one with Strings. We have two A2 locations in our company, but another regional handles those locations

I truly appreciate the feedback. Positive or negative, it helps me. I have zero experience when it comes to video or editing. I'm literally making this up as I go.

This mechanic is worth millions. There are many centers that have no mechanic or may have closed do to no mechanic availible . Some centers are forced to switch to string machines because they claim little maintainence is needed. String machines are $25.000 each. Fact

I have a home install. What simple maintenance should I be doing? Specific things to oil etc. Thanks.

Chains. For sure! Pivot bearing hubs. I use Lucas Oil Stabelizer. It is thicker than aerosol chain lube, and it will last longer. I do all the chains with it. Keep the green distributor belts clean. Keep the pins and the transoprt band clean. Oil buildup on the pins and T-band can cause trouble calls.

@@michaelbuckley3808 Thank you so much. I've done some lube but feel like I should be doing more. Just discovered your videos. I've been lucky so far with calls and issues but appreciate your videos.

Boss how to remove the table shock abosorber for oilingg
Half of the machine is plastic. It will always look off to me.

This is a bit of an exaduration. There are more plastic components compared to the A/A2 pinsetter. However, the plastic components are designed well, and they hold up. I have been around GSX machines for close to 8 years now. I don't have any real complaints or issues with any of the parts that are made out of plastic. I think a lot of people have been inadvertently influenced by a few people who trash talk parts being made out of plastic. The biggest takeaway is simple. These machines work well. They can outperform the A/A2 on FPS if properly maintained. Don't get me wrong. I will always have a love for the A and A2 machines. I have been around them for over 25 years. They have been around for over 50 years. They are the workhorses of the industry. The biggest issue right now is finding qualified service technicians to properly maintain them, plus high-quality replacement parts.

@@michaelbuckley3808 I'm just saying they look weird to me. I'm told the frames per stop rate is so high centers don't even need a mechanic. I'm not sure I like that. I'm being told I should purchase string pinsetters for my new bowling center but I just can't wrap my head around it. GSX is about as far as I am willing to go. I started on A2 and Zot Conversion pinsetters back in 1989. I understand both sides of the argument.
