Love this melody. Greetings from Seljord, Norway 🙂

This is great. I'm lucky as a Norwegian American I got to go to Norway several years ago doing piano bars in Oslo and other towns. I got to understand more of my heritage and even the language a little bit. It's nice to hear some traditional Norwegian music of a traditional (and visually beautiful) instrument. Bravo.

Wow, both this and the recent duet Grateslaget are so evocative. Do you have any information to explain the title or origin? I tried to look up Bruremarsj and it translated to "burning march" which just made me more curious. Thank you for this beautiful music played so brilliantly.

Bruremarsj fra Seljord is translated to Bridesmarch from Seljord, where Seljord is a beautiful place in Norway. =)

Bruremarsj means "bridal march" and it's a traditional bridal march from Seljord, a municipality in the region Telemark, Norway.
