First off, gotta tell you, love your PUPPY! Good job on the chipper. It looks to be about an 18 - 19 incher? That motor was a grand but like you say, it's supposed to be new and you won't change it again. ALWAYS enjoy when the wife comes home (believe me!) This was interesting and thanks for another! Sonny

Yeah the dog is my big baby! I’ve put some big logs though it . The Opening measures to 21 inches so it’s probably a 19. They said they couldn’t rebuild the old one cost effectively. I love when she comes home from work. She’s my best friend since we were 12 years old. Thanks for watching

The 280xp is rated as a 18in capacity but it’ll take a 21in

#dirtblue new to the channel and I like it so far. How do you like the hf impact drills? The top hydraulic motor above the one you replaced , always had that wobble in it? Keep the vids coming. Great content and no bullshit kinda attitude❗ good shit👍👍

The impact is ok on most stuff but still need a breaker bar . Yeah the top motor has always been like that 🤷‍♂️. Thanks for watching

@@DirtBrute the guy I use to work for had a mobark turbo diesel chipper. It was a BEAST. I liked running it , well any chipper for the sound of a tree getting destroyed. Lol. The one you have ain't no damn slouch at all. That 5.9 screams and chips with EASE! Name it OLD BLUE from the movie "OLD SCHOOL" with Will Ferrell. Man F-💣 what ppl say . 300 armchair quarterbacks but you're the one putting in the BLOOD , SWEAT and TEARS into your buisness. Also I like when owner/operators work on their own equipment. You appreciate it and take better care of the equipment compared to the ones that just run it and call a mechanic to fix it.🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅

My bandit chipper feed wheel is stopping when little peices goes in think it may be the feed motor my chipper is a bandit model 65xp.

Mabe. Check to make sure there is no bent metal first that could be stopping it . Then Check the hydraulic fluid and filter. Then make sure you didn’t shear off the key way that connects the hydraulic motor to the feed wheel . If that’s not it then probably motor

It will feed straight limbs but anything small or dead it stops it every time

@@DirtBrute i am working on it now. My chipper has a single feed wheel and I can easily spin It by hand the hydraulic motor is also turning.

Can you make a video on how the feed roller is hooked up I've been looking for info but have found nothing. Building one on mine just don't know how to plumb it.

I dont think I could make a whole video on how it’s hooked up, every machine is different and this one has been changed and pieced together like frankenstein. Your best bet is to get the schematics of your particular machine off google or the dealer.
