Like that technique of tying off the brush and not trapping any fibers. Looks like you twist thre brush almost to separate the tie down area. Nice!

Great Video!!! You know Im a big fan of the fgc... Do you increase the number of feathers as you move forward? Does the brush head negate that need? Thanks!!!
@SchultzOutfitters6 жыл бұрын
Ricgua2, as we move forward we use slightly more chenille and feathers to help create the perfect taper. The brush head allows you to use less feathers, create a bulkier head and push more water.

More feathers as you move forward on the standard FGC. The brush head gives it some suspension properties especially when tied with a keel. We usually use .025 lead wire when keeling the front hook. If you use Solarez Flex (Green) the lead wraps can be peeled off or added depending on the current water conditions.

I tied a black iridescent schlappen changer with the black filler flash and it turned out great.

Can you cast these very far with a 7wt and SA Titan line?

Will be trying the same thing this spring....

@@nateg861 I struggle with large double hooked changers on an 8wt sonar titan sink tip. It's do-able with lots of practice and Belgian cast and fast action rod.
