Another great video. I appreciate you sharing the info. I bought a few different Wild Willie’s colors and so far haven’t had any luck with either. I got the Comet and My Precious. Maybe I just didn’t have the right colors for those days. I’ll probably order more. Thanks again.
@bigcatchfishingmississippi3 ай бұрын
Hey, sorry to hear that. My go to summer colors are Pearly Gates and blue/white. Using the Trout Magnet jig head in the 1/64th oz size is good, too. Finesse is better for me I summer. August and September are the worst crappie months for me. Between the heat and the boat traffic and waves. Thanks for watching and your support. I hope you slay them, tight lines!!

You show some good video of your Livescope and hook-set and as far as losing jigs on a brush pile goes, I use a weedless jig head for brush pile fishing which greatly reduces the loss of jigs so maybe that helps you and others who watch your videos…😊

Watching is painful. You do know you would DRASTICALLY increase your catch if you STOPPED setting the hook so hard. Your not missing fish your ripping their lips. You're literally pulling the hook out. Simply lifting the rod tip is PLENTY of a hook set on crappie. Is it just a habit from bass fishing maybe??
@bigcatchfishingmississippi3 ай бұрын
You are probably right! Old habits die hard. On that snapper fishing video from a few weeks ago, I was doing the same thing with the circle hooks. I know I lost some really good fish, because of that. Either way, I appreciate you watching, and TIGHT LINES, brother.
