yes, there is a push to talk button on the front of the sidestick, or if an aircraft has a yoke then it is on the back of that. there is also a handheld microphone for pilots so that they don't always have to wear the headset.

Well, unless both engines quit... good luck getting off of the ground then XD. Jokes aside, I've always questioned this 'safety' rule. It's always better to risk overshooting the runway (usually after slowing down a bit due to braking) and being on the ground when the impact happens, than taking off in flames, and then come crashing to the ground anyway. Also, at least then you have airport emergency services... Just wondered. Thought you might know.

so cool!!! i subscribed!!! at 0:33 you can see one of my spotplaces "wingtips-restaurant", and what is cool to is at 2:11, the pilot is telling us about the turn he made because of the noise above brussels, that turn is right above my house, i can see the lift of of the planes and than they turning to fly above my house!!! ;) when i drive at the Ring around Brussels is cool to, the planes are flying in line with the Ring!!! ;)

Avant Brussels Airlines il y avait Virgin EXpress. En 1997, j'avais besoin de me rendre à Bruxelles au départ de Nice Côte d'Azur pour mon boulot. J'appelle le N° de Virgin Express à Nice et je leur demande leurs tarifs par le biais d'un support papier. L'agent d'escale me répond qu'il n'est pas possible d'avoir cette information sur une brochure et il me cite les tarifs qu'il lit sur son écran d'ordinateur. Les prix allaient du simple au triple. Je lui demande sur quels critères il se base pour m'annoncer de tels prix aussi élevés (plus de 300 € actuels l'aller simple). Il me dit que c'est comme ça ! Que je dois lui faire confiance et c'est tout !!!! Je suis parti d'un rire nerveux inextinguible !!! Finalement j'y suis allé en voiture et je ne l'ai pas regretté puisque j'ai dévalisé les magasins de déco à Anvers et Brugges.....
