In the first stop of our cruise excursion, we received news of a strike in France. So, we changed our plan and decided to spend the night in Zeebrugge, Belgium. We took advantage of the situation and went straight to the Belgian capital, Brussels. We admired the beautiful Grand Place, which Victor Hugo called the world's most beautiful square, and indulged in plenty of chocolates. Of course, we also tried the famous Belgian fries, which can be found in every corner of the city.
We visited some popular food spots in Brussels, including BFC Belgium, a delicious fried chicken restaurant (yes, it's called BFC), Le Roi de la Gaufre, a waffle shop, and Chez Léon, a famous mussel restaurant. We also visited the famous Manneken Pis and his lesser-known sister. Along the way, we explored the charming Saint Hubert Royal Galleries, Saint Michael and Saint Gudula Cathedral, and many more.
