Overkill is one of those perfect old school bands that as awesome as they are, I believe they are putting out the best material of their careers lately and they know it! Every time I see them, every time I listen to a new release, you can hear the excitement of the band themselves performing the material! They love kicking so much ass and it makes the music that much better having that energy there!

Overkill have been at this a long time. You’ve got your supposed big 4 but let me tell ya Overkill,Testament,Exodus, KreatoR would put on one heck of a festival called,”Big 4~~The Aftermath” & take no prisoners & take names! Testament a lone is a wrecking machine with the line up that they have with drummer Gene “The Atomic Clock” Hoglan,Fretless Bassist Steve Di Giorgio,The 2 guitar assasins of Alex Scholnick & Eric Peterson & lead singer Chuck Billy, that is the best Testament lineup ever imo, they would destroy Metallica & Anthrax hands down,if Testament had the $$$ Metallica did for a better stage show with better props & pyro they would be even more deadly imo, not saying Testaments stage show isn’t already awesome but it wouldn’t hurt neither to make it better.

He was probably more talented, but Jason is more "tight" when it comes to live play. Both are great drummers. Overkill always had first class drummers.

I love Overkill but I'm gonna be that guy. It's clear there are tempo issues here. If they don't use click tracks they need to start or they need a drummer that doesn't race OR they need new guitar players because at the speed they're trying to play at the guitarists clearly can't keep up. The beginning of Ironbound Dave switches to alternate picking when it should be all down strokes and the other guitar player struggles to make it sound good when he's playing that riff on his own at the start of the second verse
