Deepslate and warped wood is nice. Plus then you can use soul lanterns to match (although they're terrible at actually lighting up an area). I'd love a way to make coloured lanterns in the game, that's usually the part I struggle with when building.

I've noticed that a lot of the Life Series members (3rd Life) say Last Life is their favorite of the bunch, and from the perspective of a content creator and getting to play this amazing SMP with all your friends, I get why Last Life is a lot of people's fave, but gosh, Double Life was the first one I got to watch as it was being filmed/posted and I will never get over the love I have for that season. I love Double Life so much. It's 100% always gonna be my fave Life Series season (though, honestly, all 4 seasons are GOAT for me tbh)

for me I think double life is when it got more extreme, it went from the main thing in the series being getting sugar cane and people didn't really know how to set traps. in last life it got a lot better also there were end crystals and then in double life there was stuff like the zombie pool party and the warden. as it goes on poeple get it more and it gets more fun

I totally agree, season 1 felt like they were immersing themselves in the lore, you couldn't watch an episode without being amazed with the storytelling but season 2 felt more like an SMP between some friends, not like something you would watch as a viewer and enjoy, the only real story we got in Season 2 was a skull, some fog and one of the members being a toy, it didn't blow me away at the end of every episode, it felt more like a School Cafeteria

I was starting to think that Jimmy didn’t remember that much of evo or that it wouldn’t be regarded as one of his top series because he gets confused every time the watcher lore is brought up in his reaction videos, but Jimmy’s experience with evo is proof that lore does not have to define a series. It’s about having fun with friends the lore just makes it more enjoyable for the viewers. And Jimmy just convinced me to go back and watch evo (nope can’t say that word about evo how do I avoid that word) from his perspective even though it’s very long and might take a while

I LOVE snowy biomes, although that might just be nostalgia as I lived in one on my very first SMP. Birch wood is mediocre, but the forests are beautiful! (At least in my opinion.) Acacia is a good wood, I refuse to hear otherwise. Cherry deserves an S tier. Honestly nether update deserves S tier. In my opinion Village & Pillage would be an S tier if villager trading halls weren't so broken! 3rd Life deserves top tier. It was eye-opening.

The life series rankings are always hard. 3rd Life is near and dear to my heart as it’s the first series that got me into watching a lot of MC youtubers (at the time I had only watched a handful of Grian videos and was consistently watching Joe Hills and Zombie Cleo (mostly livestreams). Last Life was the season in which I got heavily involved with the fan community and had my favorite factions Double Life was amazing, but lacked the storyline that I liked out of 3rd and Last Life. (But on rewatch, it’s my favorite. It’s the one that has stuck with me. Probably because Jimmy and Joel keep referencing the series even though we’re a year removed.) Limited Life was good, but it felt rushed and confusing. Though team Clockers dynamic was amazing, chaotic, and out of left field. At the end of the day, all 4 seasons have been great in their own regards. And each of them is special to me in their own unique way.

I have the exact same feelings for all of these seasons!!!! I always rotate what my favorite is between 3rd life, last life, and double life because they are all so near and dear to my heart in different ways. If I had to choose a "least" favorite, it'd begrudgingly be limited life, but I looooved the Clockers so much, they were my favorite dynamic (if you haven't seen Bdubs' most recent livestream, the three of them spent a lot of time together at the beginning goofing off and it made my Clockers heart so happy). And it had some really amazing moments so then I'm like hhhh I can't choose! I'm so excited for season 5, like you said, all these seasons have been so unique and special and I'm excited to see how the next one will worm its way into my heart

@@goodparslay I feel the same on your Lim Life take --- Team Clockers and Team TIES are close in my heart (I was so happy to see Impulse and Skizz finally teaming in the Life series and undeniably Scar, Bdubs, and Cleo as family were hilariously unexpected, as I've mentioned before). I think it's unfair to pick a favorite though... it's comparing apples to oranges, as they say. I am so hyped for season five but I'm NOT ready for all the plot bunny fanfiction ideas that will spawn from it.

Jimmy's New Life is good, but he's basically carrying the series at this point. I think when he gets to his 6th life and Martyn makes the 6th toy box, that will be the conclusion of the series. Double Life was my favorite because it paired people up in more unusual ways. It's much more interesting to see Jimmy & Tango rather than Tango & Impulse or Jimmy & Grian.

It's really cool to see that Jimmy was the common denominator between the group that I used to watch alot (Shubble, Graser, HBomb, Kiingtong, and other Harmony Hollow/Cube SMP members) and the group that I watch alot now (Grian, Mumbo, Tango, Impulse, and other Hermitcraft/Last Life members). Personally I would keep the goat tear the same. Last life was amazing and I found Evo through Martin’s life series lore watched all jimmy’s episodes and it was amazing. I miss Morty gage and Pete Bills so much man. I think I would put specifically the COD father’s POV of empires season, one in goat as well. I discovered Jimmy through x life and 3rd life, but I didn’t really start watching his stuff till empires came out and it really was just so amazing. I liked season two as well but for different reasons and I think I would put season one higher just because I really liked the story aspect and I’m a sucker for fish people they’re just cool what can I say. I don’t know if it’s goat tear, but limited life is also up there cause I mean you got a love the bad boys. Please continue to keep making contact like this and channel is just so much fun to watch. I do a drawing a while back of all the different versions of Jimmy through the different series and hey maybe I need to update it it’s been a while.

I LOVE all the life series! Third life was easily my favourite, the red king was just the coolest concept and ill never get over it. Last life is a close second, but there are things i love about all of them and its so hard to choose! Im so glad this series was a success and they keep making them because they are just amazing! Double life was my favorite. It was fun to see the unique pairings, and watch duos who rarely interact, spend the whole series together. Limited life was also a great series. We seen many different dynamics and not a single episode was boring.

Third Life was my favorite purely for how it panned out. The fist fight between Grian and Scar was peak. Last Life was great for the memes and the humor. Southlands was by far my favorite crew in any of the Life series.

I love mangrove, it’s my favourite tree in real life, and it does bring a lot, like a lot a lot, of great blocks to the game, the colour is just not what I hoped, mojang should really add driftwood, black and white woods into the game tho, I think that would be brilliant Edit: does anyone else agree with me that xlife was sort of a prequel to afterlife and newlife, I mean they were all modded, all had a set number of lives (that wasn‘t 1) and they were all with some of the same people. Even if that wasn‘t planned, i still think that xlife was kinda part of the reborn series (what I call afterlife and newlife so that it doesn’t get confused with the other life series) and they all came out in an order in and around empires s1 and s2 even if xlife wasn‘t derectly connected to the aforementioned smps in any way (Oh, and the names are quite similar too)
