Medal of Honor recommendation. Douglas Mcarthur. Led his men at the front, into battle waving his pistol and yelling them to follow him. After bombarding the enemy with accurate artillery fire, he ordered a bayonet charge that looked suicidal. After being nearly there, an anti tank shell took off his hat and barely missed his head. He took the town with a small amount of losses and earned the respect of his men and feared by the communists.

The Korean war is so overlooked compared to Vietnam. We still hear news about North and South Korea, but I haven't heard any major news on Vietnam. It just goes to show people are more focused on a war (however unpopular and controversial) that ended roughly 40 years ago, than a war that technically is still ongoing to this day.

Good video nonetheless. Just wanted to point out that the coalition forces (meaning the non-US forces here) didnt actually enter further into NK besides pyongyang, since the UN's official stance was simply to retake SK. However, MacArthur said "screw it" and pushed them up to the Yalu river lmao
