Isnt it obvious, arsenal had 2/3/4 clear chances, wasted it because they lack a clinical striker, newcastle had two chances and took it. This January would determine if the club is serious or not, which top club releases 4 attacking players in smith rowe, nelson, viera and Nketiah and replaces none of them. That arsenal team is craving hungrily for a top striker, they totally outplayed newcastle but who cares when you still lost. If they don't get a top stiker and a winger in January, they cannot achieve anything. Also, this Arteta's controlled slow ball moving progression game this season is irritating and arrogant, so easy for any team to pack the bus.

Arsenal wasted chances and Newcastle used their chances effectively. Just take the loss and look foward to a better attacking signing. I do understand our frustrations and do believe the coach and players are not happy with last night and recent form either. I strongly believe improvements in closing the gaps observed will help going forward. With 9 matches in January alone, injuries and illness around the camp, plus resultant shortages, we all knew it was going to be a tough month. It was going to happen and last night was chosen. It wasn't a shock for me. I sincerely don't think it's the time to throw blames at anyone. Arsenal can and will surely do better, especially learning from the case of Man City (one/two players out and so many unexpected losses as a result) Like other fans, I felt bad last night, but let's not start this toxic atmosphere and throw the Coach under the bus.

a week into the new year and Arsenal have not planned, targeted players to replace their errors and injured. Its now 8th, still waiting for 29th January to start the noise about buying... Its so funny. Arsenal management have had the chance of learning for 5/6 yrs and still make the same mistake. i think its just about to get worse.
