"Rugby is a hooligan game played by gentleman and football is gentleman game played by hooligan" Favorite invictus quote
@nubSawace6 жыл бұрын
clever. it's as if the framework begets the inverse behavior. you MUST play rugby with more honor, else the game itself would collapse. whereas in a game with rules more strict, it effectively allows the player the opportunity for misbehavior.

I'm not going to start praising rugby players. Some of these guys are thugs and are no better than the footballers. Some of the cheap shots in this video are disgusting, dangerous and nothing short of cowardly. Not sure anyone would have the nerve to argue after landing some of these cheap shots.
@narby72646 жыл бұрын
I agree with your point, It makes for horrible pathetic viewing but I can see why footballers do it to be honest. When you're sprinting on average up to 10 miles in a single game those 15 seconds of rolling around is not only buying you time to catch your breath but also your team too.. not justifying it but I guess I can see why footballers are grabbing those tiny breaks when they can.. Playing 11vs10 is also quite the incentive to play act too..

damn first ref sounded actually sorry he had to give him a red card and that this the first sport where I haven't seen players argue with ref calls.
@Barnzie836 жыл бұрын
ThatOneGuy you will find that happens alot in rugby, the ref knows the guy hasn't meant to do what he did but to the letter of the law the player has to be sent off. Thing is afterwards in the club house the refs & players get together have a drink, a bite to eat & chat (well at least in the amateur game) & all the ref can do is appologise for sending the poor lad off

A hospital pass in soccer, how does that work? The round ball game has few hard men. Sergio Ramos and Roy Keane are exceptions, Keane deliberately injured Haaland and Ramos has been dishing it out forever. Apart from them the game evolved from the time star players like Van Bastien were deliberately injured and had their careers ended to the farcical behavior of actors like Neymar.
