The lack of gore in this game takes so much away from the gameplay. You have all these super high power weapons that do no visible damage. Cyberpunk is an example of how to do this right.

Keep an eye out for when the Creation Kit is released. The modders are going to improve this mess considerably. They already have, honestly, and that's with one hand tied behind their backs, lol.

This game doesn't even look that bad. Yeah it isn't gory, but skyrim isn't and that's one of my favorite games ever.

Skyrim is gory and you can add in mods that do enhancements to the magic damage like shared corpses and frozen corpses.

I dont think i can put links or URLS in replies or comments, but I'll post links in the description to the main mods you can actually see and are in use here. And yes, there's a ragdoll mod that makes the bodies have a bit more weight, so they don't fly around like paper.

@@mangaas thanks for the list. Btw, if you’re anything like me, you get tired of seeing the same death animations over and over. There’s a mod called “True Ragdoll - No Death Animations” that makes it so every kill is a true ragdoll death, making every one of them unique. I love it, it fixes one of my biggest complains which is repetitive enemy death animations

This is at max difficulty, with a mod that triples the damage you take, as well as increasing their reaction times and accuracy. The games base AI and combat is just really simple. You can see at @1:25 I lose almost half my HP to a quick burst from the enemy. Its just really bad AI. Creation kit mods will do a much better job now at improving the AI and gunplay.

I'm not the guy you asked but I've got alot of hrs in both games. Cyberpunk is better as far as complexity of what the AI can do but starfield has alot of dynamic stuff so there's zero g, they use cover and can also adapt to different gravity. Starfield ai is more vertically able while cyberpunk they have a wider range of abilities.​@@alinvid6098
