Yes, especially with how their creative staff managed to study the trends in 2023 amd applied it on le sserafims 2024 album. Amapiano can be executed in different ways but out of all african-amerocan artists in the west who did amapiano, they chose tyla to ride on the trend she popularized (not created, although what tyla dod was done way before she debuted and her whole genre & concept too existed way before she was born)

The only thing I found really disappointing in the past week or so that TWICE finally released good music, but everyone is so busy fighting over LE SSERAFIM when TWICE's music was great and fun and then LE SSERAFIM's music was kinda eh? Both are amapiano but doja sings hers in different than tyla. African artists usually tend to pronounce words in a different way, listen to woman again then listen to smart, the way le sserafim say smarter is straight up copy of african english accent.

Umm actually RM has faced extraordinary things as a leader more than any leader in kpop!! Basically there's no group which has the same influence as BTS and imagine the pressure upon his head!! RM is DESERVED to be called as the best leader in kpop no matter what!

What other leaders had to do interviews along with the Korean president on US news shows? What leaders had to basically be representatives of their entire countries at the White House? We KNOW it was only RM.

We KNOW it was only RM. He didn’t ask for any of this, neither did any of the other members. They weren’t even from a big company so they never expected to be Korea’s representatives. What RM has had to do has gone far above what idols do in entertainment. Read his interview in El Pais. There’s a reason it went viral among the Korean public. I never said anything about “hardest”, it’s about facing things no one else has ever dreamt an idol group leader would have to do. And he did it so well and remains a great person.

@@Lonadurn but those are what’s take into consideration when you discuss best leader. Usually people compare their leadership skills and how they contribute to the group as well as their music. This argument is based on how closely the leaders are involved with their group and their music and the company. What they have done outside of those things only contribute to their leadership qualities outside of music and the industry.

@@saniyong being an idol group leader has never been about the music, it’s about building teamwork and leading. Most Kpop groups don’t write their own music but they still have leaders. Again, this just shows how much RM is the BLUEPRINT. New Kpop fans think his brand of leadership is what a group leader does. He’s always been the one explaining BTS’ music AND representing the group and industry on world stages. But if thats your metric, RM excels. He’s always been the musical leader of BTS as well. The group was built around him. Some 4th Gen groups have basically copied the leader centered approach we see with BTS.

1- I listened to the song. It was nothing special. I support the artists but not the brands hence I'm not gonna be listening to that song again. Also blaming the idols in this situation is pretty stupid imo. But also saying that they don't know what they are getting into is Also stupid. 2- honestly there is not a "one best person" in any category in kpop. There is no best leader, dancer , visual, vocalist, etc cuz the industry is so big that you just cannot give the title of the best to one person. Yeah they might be the best to you but to others they might not be the best. 3-short and lacking. The title track imo has potential. They could easily increase the length and not keep the same pace through out the whole song. Also i think that there should have had been different sounds in the album. Like every song in that album sounds almost the same. I would love if they tried different genres and increased the length and brought a "it" factor in the album. Also don't even get started on the outfit choice and cheography considering there is a minor in the group. 4-true. I hate solo Stans or just in general people who claim to like a group and then go like "but ... I don't like this member". Honestly for me i find it fine only if you keep that to your self and don't go on Openly hating on that member. 5- before getting to know kpop, i used to think Korea was heaven but low-key kpop gave me a reality check. Watching videos of korean men talking about women, women expressing how Korea is not a safe country, bullying scandals , korean saesaengs especially females going crazy over idols and stalking them, how kpop idols are treated on a daily basis by k-netizens, racism, misogyny and the list goes on and on but kpop honestly showed me a more true look of korea. I'm not just gonna sit here and bash korea because there are many good aspects about Korea too. I have seen many respectful k- stans and soo toxic international Stans too but my point is that yeah korea really isn't a heaven. MY OPINIONS: 1- people need to stop and leave itzy alone. The hate train is so forced. 2- i got you is better than one spark. (Imo) 3- the start of 5th generation was boring. The groups who slayed were kiss of life, ampersand one, xickers,riize and vcha.( I think that girls of the year was a solid debut song) 4- people scream about minors being sexualized but yall literally let young posse's company get away with the disgusting lyrics in macaroni cheese and their group name.

That's right, there's nothing new when it comes to pop songs. It all comes down to black peoples influence in music from creating blues, jazz, rock, hiphop & rnb. There is literally no originality, that's why the market is tiugh since you really gotta think of ways in improvising what is already done in order to be known.
