This building's cool. The escalators & that vintage elevator (#1) are so fascinating. This building was actually built by the same architect as the Pittsburgh International Airport.

For the viewers that couldn’t see the home plate info, this was the site of Forbes Field. It’s cool to think that Dawn of the Dead was being filmed a few miles away in Monroeville when this building was almost completed. The movie soundtrack could have been playing and it would have been a perfect fit with all the colors, escalators and elevators that are from the same era. Viewers should also pull up pics of what this place looks like on the outside. It’s almost like a prison or old school federal building.

This place reminds me, albeit vaugly, of Pier 21 and Scotia Square in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I really with you would visit the Death Star in Davis, CA. (Social Sciences and Humanities Building) You'd love it.

The escalators in an academic building are more like an urban location university feel, seeing the escalators reminded me of those school field trips as a child, the class would visit a museum or event and then walk through a busy urban university campus building near lunch time and pass by some food windows and messy seating areas. Also the name posvar is almost like some kind of hacking technique im afraid to type it out

It's not uncommon to have mall like buildings at universities
