Brutally Honest Nasty Gal Review / Haul! (Don't do what I did!)

Hi Beautiful People!
This is my brutally honest, unbiased, non sponsored Nasty Gal try on haul! To say I was #disappointed was a understatement. Don't fall into the quantity over quality trap that I did! Learn from the lesson I learned here --- fast fashion brands like this won't deliver quality pieces and don't deserve your money.
I'm currently going through the return process and having so much difficulty with that as well so I'm hoping I'll hear from Nasty Gal soon.
Please let me know if you also think that these items are overpriced or if I am over exaggerating!

It's a marketing strategy, Nasty Gal over prices their items and always have 50% "Sales". Its to make buyers think they are getting a deal when their not. Quality in clothing has gone down hill, it's sad. I agree, it's easy to fall into the trap.

I have been binge watching hauls on this brand all day as I have never shopped on the site before. I also spent all freaking night looking at their site, and had a bunch of clothes sitting in my cart, so I wanted to be 100% sure before I paid for everything. I read reviews on other sites (funny they dont have posted reviews on the items they list..🤔I am Soooooo glad I did my research! So happy I didn't just throw my money away! Thank you for your honesty! It's so obvious the "fans/promoters" that claim to love their clothes are being paid. The camera doesn't lie. Thanks for your honest review and great timing that I stumbled upon it as I have soo much in my basket - you are going to save me heaps of money!! I have never shopped with them before but got sucked in by the sale 🤦‍♀️ I felt the discounted prices were what it should be full price and couldn't get my head around the price before discount!! The other thing I noticed was practically every item I clicked on was 100% polyester which I'm not a huge fan of. Thanks again - refreshing to have such an honest view on the company!! Xx

Placed 4 orders...EACH ONE had something EXTREMELY wrong. They have no phone support. They barely have any email help, either. IF they think I'm going to bother sending back what you DO NOT GET A REFUND FOR, only merch credit, screw Nasty Gal. I couldn't find anywhere they said upon clicking to order apart from it saying "US" and pick your size. Everything I received was in Asian or UK sizing.

I just ordered 500$ worth of nastygal things and only 2 items worked. It will cost so much money to return it from Canada to the uk. I’ll never order from them again. The jeans looked like they were made by a child and looked nothing like the picture, not to mention they were 2 sized bigger than I ordered.

Bought that same first set you bought and yes its seethrough and not thick... but it feels soft. Nastygal is hit or miss for me same goes for boohoo or missguided or plt.

When I decided I wanted to return things I reached out to their Instagram account and they messaged me back quickly with an easy form I had to fill out. I shipped it from the US and to ship it back was $4, which was not bad at all. I was nervous that I would somehow owe money at the Post Office as well but that was not the case, It was straight up $4 to send back. Once I shipped it out they refunded me really quickly, like within a week I would say. I recommend keeping the bag they send everything in so you can use it to send things back if you need to. I just needed to buy some packaging tape to seal it up and to adhere and cover the return label. I would say the process is worth it unless you dont want to lose $4 (if shipping back from US). I have read good things about the coats and was really happy with mine. Everything else just seems like a gamble to me, I probably would not shop there again, but maybe I'd check out something that I know would be okay, like a big graphic T or something.. I was shocked that original prices for most of their stuff says Bloomingdales, but what arrives is worse than forever21/taobao/aliexpress. I ordered some stuff and sent all of the clothes back: all of the sizes were inconsistent, nothing looked like the pictures, everything was super cheap garbage but priced WAY higher, got a dress that had no hint of shoulder pads in the photo but irl they had these weird shoulder pads that are set foreward and not ON your shoulders...and just all around garbage in every way. oh and they charge for returns...only $4 but STILL

yeah I think she’s just being harsh because it’s a fast fashion site. but realistically it’s the exact same quality you would get on any fast fashion website like plt and boohoo. i dont think it’s overpriced either, imo £15 for an ok dress isn’t overpriced, you get what you pay for

I’m so mad. I bought a few things from their 90% sale and ALL of them are weirdly sized. I picked my true sizes I wear and they were all way too small. @@kj-fk7ft for reference i bought 2 pairs of boots, i mean they were pretty standard. Do i see them lasting for years and years with frequent use in great quality? Most likely not compared to your high end brand boots. The only thing I guess I can complain is that the sole of the shoe is very slippery, no grip whatsoever so thats a downer. But for 2-3 years of good use if maintained well, they'll be okay

I bought 3 lounge sets from Nasty Gal, and every single crotch seam came undone within the week. One was a knit that has stretched out so thin it's like loungewear for a porno. I also order jeans according to their size-chart quiz, and they came up to my armpits. Seriously, how many people have legs 4 1/2 feet long? And that was a medium! I'll never buy from them again.

@@julianahorta The first pair (Mary Janes) weren’t the worst. But the second pair (boots) were the worst quality ever made. My order came in 2 weeks late, I believe. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend. It’s a hit or miss kind of situation. It’s best not to risk it.
