I am trying to make a New Link Ethernet connection for programming on my BRX internal port. I cannot connect and am not sure about the IP, Subnet, and Gateway. I tried the same settings as on your video but it does not work. when I select New Link and select Ethernet, then UDP/IP on the Link Wizard I do not get anything. Then I select the Setup button but I still don't get anything. I also tried the IP for my PC Ethernet connection but it doesn't work either. I tried my internet IP and no work. I am baffled as to what I am not doing.

Hi Bobby, I would go to the Applications under the Launchpad. Select the NetEdit 3 application. The PLC should be displayed. If not then select 'Scan Network' for the software to search the network again. If this does not work then I would change your Ethernet cable back to your router and try the above again. Here is a post that may be of interest to you. accautomation.ca/what-everybody-ought-to-know-about-ip-addressing/ Regards, Garry

Hi kennis ko, Depending on what mode of communication you have with the BRX Do-More controller the lights on the CPU will flash. This will indicate that you have communication established. On the Do-More Designer Software, you will notice that you are on-line by the bottom address bar. It will show "Online", mode of the controller, and any error messages. If you want to see the status of your PLC program then select the Status icon on the main menu when monitoring the ladder logic. I hope this helps you out.
