I actually thought that Bryan Cranston was Russian when i was a kid. I felt that he made a very convincing Russian accent. Same with how Jessica Chastain as Gia did a convincing Italian accent. Though Martin Short as Stefano did a horrible Italian accent. I watched him in The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That before Madagascar 3. I knew there that he was American. Unlike Cranston and Chastain. Who i thought as a kid were Russian and Italian respectively. In late 2013, i read online that Kung Fu Panda 3 was in development at DreamWorks. Bryan Cranston was part of the cast. At the time, i still thought that he was Russian. It wasn't until I watched the movie when it came out that i realized he was not in fact Russian. As his character Li speaks in a normal American voice.
